ELCBF Child Sponsorship
ELCBF currently has over 300 children and a number of orphans in it’s program. We are searching for child sponsors to help the children and families in Sandogo and Targho, Burkina Faso. Just $20 a month will meet a child’s food, medical, clothing and education needs, and will allow a family to better provide for it’s future and well being. Becoming a sponsor and therefore becoming a huge part of a family’s life is easy! Receipts will be mailed at the end of the calendar year.  CHILD SPONSORSHIP FORM Why Sponsor?  Becoming a sponsor is a great way to help those less fortunate than ourselves, and gives a child a real chance at a successful future. We are called to spread God’s love, and establishing a real connection with a foreign culture while at the same time providing a child with the means to get by is an excellent way to do just that. Our program helps Christian, Muslim and Animist children from many different cultural backgrounds in Burkina Faso. We pray that in sponsoring a child, you will learn about Burkina Faso and Africa, and strengthen your connection to God and his children.  In this photo, children in Targho are receiving food aid from our program. At the end of the dry season and during the wet season, the food from the previous harvest become scarce and the children only eat a few times a week. They are forced to ration food throughout the year just to survive. By supplementing their diet, they get the precious carbs and protein needed to thrive in their sweltering climate.
